At present he is the General Secretary of Kilimanoor Palace Trust and the Chairman of the Ramavarma Foundation for Art and Culture. Ramavarma Thampuran is a musician by profession--a renowned singer and film score composer in Indian films. A product of Swathi Thirunal College of Music, Thiruvananthapuram, he has composed for a good number of popular serials, short films, documentaries, music albums and Malayalam movies. He has conducted several musical concerts in India and abroad.
